Balance. Good landscape design is a seamless blend of art and science. We strive to balance our client's vision and desired aesthetic outcome, their schedule, and their budget, with specific site challenges such as drainage and soil damage, and distinctive regional factors such as climate and pest management.
Sustainability. Good landscape design is always sustainable. It is our responsibility to be good stewards of the Earth and its resources. We always use native and adapted species to the region in which we are designing, to ensure that what we do thrives in that distinctive soil and climate, benefits water and air quality, and requires minimal chemical/fertilizer support.
Accessibility. Good landscape design is accessible. With an extensive formal education in Horticultural Therapy, we focus all of our consultation, planning, and site restoration work on providing clients with landscape solutions that are safe, inclusive, and supportive of people of all ages, levels of mobility, and sight impairments.
Communication. Good landscape design and customer satisfaction depend on good communication. From the beginning of a project to its completion, we ask the right questions, really listen to the client, quickly & concisely relay any site/project concerns or issues, and answer any questions you have along the way. We want you to feel understood, well-informed, and satisfied with the entire process.
